Biliary Cholangitis

Biliary cholangitis is an inflammation of the ducts that carry bile from the liver to the intestine. It can be due to an obstruction, an infection, or a process in which the immune system itself affects those ducts progressively.

Common symptoms: yellowish coloring of the skin and eyes, itching, fatigue, pain in the upper right part of the abdomen, and, in some cases, fever.
