Sclerosing Cholangitis

Sclerosing cholangitis is a disease in which the ducts that carry bile inside and outside the liver become inflamed and progressively narrow. Over time, this narrowing can hinder the normal passage of bile.

Common symptoms: Fatigue, itching of the skin, yellowish coloring of the skin or eyes, discomfort in the upper part of the abdomen, and episodes of fever may occur.
