Anti-glomerular basement membrane antibody disease is an uncommon disorder of the immune system in which the body itself produces antibodies that damage the kidneys and, at times, the lungs. It is one of the kidney conditions of immunological origin.

Symptoms that may appear: blood in the urine, decreased amount of urine, swelling, fatigue, and, when there is lung involvement, difficulty breathing or coughing up blood.
