Pituitary Gigantism

Pituitary gigantism is a growth disorder that appears when the pituitary gland produces an excess of growth hormone during childhood or adolescence, before bone development is complete. This results in an increase in height greater than expected for the age.

Signs that may be observed: accelerated growth notably above average, large hands and feet, and at times discomfort such as headaches.
