Bullous Myringitis

Bullous myringitis is an inflammation of the tympanic membrane in which small blisters or vesicles form on the eardrum, usually associated with an infection and typically presenting with marked ear pain.

Common symptoms: intense ear pain of rapid onset, a feeling of a plugged ear, and, at times, fluid drainage or a temporary decrease in hearing.
