Glanzmann Thrombasthenia

Glanzmann thrombasthenia is a rare disorder, usually inherited, in which platelets are unable to group together properly, which makes it harder to form clots to stop bleeding.

Possible manifestations: Frequent bruising, gum or nose bleeding, and prolonged bleeding after wounds or procedures are usually described.
