Bacterial Vaginosis

Bacterial vaginosis is a disruption of the natural balance of the bacteria that live in the vagina, in which the protective ones decrease and others increase. It is not considered a sexually transmitted infection, although certain factors can favor its appearance.

Common symptoms: Vaginal discharge that looks different from usual, sometimes with a characteristic odor; many women, however, do not notice any obvious discomfort.
