Cementation of Inlay/Crowns Price in Mexico — 2026 Comparison
Cementing an inlay or crown is the dental step in which a previously made restoration is permanently fixed onto the tooth. Using a special adhesive material, the piece is seated to restore shape, function, and resistance to chewing.
When is it indicated? It's done after the tooth has been prepared and the inlay or crown has been fabricated, generally at an appointment following the impression.
What to expect? It's an in-office procedure in which fit and bite are checked before cementing; it's usually quick and well tolerated.
Who performs it? It's carried out by the dentist (odontólogo or dentista). If you have a restoration pending placement, it's best to discuss it with your dentist to finish the treatment.

Before you book
- Every licensed doctor in Mexico holds a cédula profesional, a national licence number. It appears on our doctor profiles where we have it, and you can verify it yourself against the federal registry.
- Ask exactly what a quoted price covers. Consultation, imaging, anaesthesia, materials and follow-up visits are often quoted separately.
- Ask who handles follow-up once you are home, and what happens if something needs correcting. For treatment that spans several visits, agree the schedule before you travel.
El Doctor is a directory. We do not provide medical care, take bookings, or receive payment from the providers listed.
