About the Doctor

I am a physician committed to my patients; during the first visit I begin building a clinical record for each patient, I conduct a thorough interview with each one, in which important aspects such as history of previous and chronic illnesses stand out; afterward I perform a meticulous head-to-toe examination looking for other relevant abnormalities. After the initial workup of the diagnosis (or diagnoses) I request laboratory and imaging studies (only what is essential) and clear up all questions the patient or their companions may have. I follow up with the patient depending on the severity of the condition. As patients you can trust that I will only request what is appropriate to build reliable diagnoses. Regarding the treatments I establish, these are based on both national and international clinical practice guidelines, and I explain in detail what each treatment involves and what I expect from that treatment. Rest assured that my main goal is to restore to each patient a quality of life that allows them to return to their daily activities. Having trained in Internal Medicine and Critical Care, I am equipped to provide comprehensive care to patients, from the onset of their illness through their rehabilitation, with an emphasis on nutritional aspects that are a cornerstone in any illness.
