About the Doctor

I trained as a Physician and Surgeon at the UNAM, and later completed my specialty as an Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Hosp. Regional Lic. Adolfo Lopez Mateos, ISSSTE, where I acquired surgical and procedural knowledge and skills. I then completed an Advanced Specialty in Glaucoma at one of the most prestigious hospitals nationwide: Fundacion Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Luz IAP, where I refined my theoretical knowledge of this disease and gained knowledge of the newest surgical treatment techniques for it. I worked at that institution for a period of 3 years, during which I continued strengthening my skills and knowledge. I keep these updated by participating in National and International Congresses. During this same period I also actively participated in training ophthalmologists and Glaucoma subspecialists. Your visual health and wellbeing are my priority.
