He is a physician and surgeon specialized in Sports Medicine, a graduate of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México. His career spans all areas of this discipline: Clinical care: Team physician for the BUAP representative teams for 3 years. Teaching and research: He has taught classes and conducted research in exercise physiology at IPETH and CMUCH. Athletic performance evaluation: He collaborates with Vlinder Center. His passion for sports has led him to compete at the amateur level in the national triathlon circuit for 19 years, in the Olympic distance. In addition, last year he took on the challenge of participating in an Ironman 70.3. With the desire to share what sports and science have contributed to his life, he founded State of the Art Training, a comprehensive preparation program for amateur athletes. "El Doc," as his patients fondly call him, is convinced that the key to reaching the highest level of performance lies in science, discipline, and passion for what one does.
