WORK SUMMARY. 1988.- During my high school studies, I worked at Mercametrica Ediciones, performing tasks such as assembling directories and organizing advertising. On weekends my work duties were for the company "CMR de México," where I performed market research tasks, such as interviews and surveys, to determine the impact of certain commercials aired on television. 1991.- During the time I was in my bachelor's degree, my work duties were reduced to small jobs for Mercametrica Ediciones, on a temporary basis since I was immersed in various extracurricular activities for the Universidad del Valle de México (which are specified in the "extracurricular activities" annex). 1994 to date.- Toward the end of my degree, I began my work life at Grupo Medico B.I.M., working consecutively from 1994 to date, where I have performed tasks such as: • Conducting vocational assessments for the general public. • Job interviews (for candidates for specific positions). • In charge of the Psychological area, determining which psychologists would or would not work in that area, and the futures and outlook for this area. • Individual psychological care "for patients in general" • Group psychological care "for groups of children, women with family problems, and people with depression." • Market research for the medical group. 1997.- When I started my specialty and residency in health psychology, due to the rotation system, I worked as a resident physician in various institutions belonging to the Secretaria de Salud; the duties were different for each institution, so I mention them below with their respective institution. 1.- Centro comunitario de salud mental "cuahutemoc." • I was part of the organization of talks and clinical sessions. • Teaching research. 2.- Centro comunitario de salud mental. • Psychological care for the general public. • Creation and care of groups with chronic degenerative diseases. • Talks supporting school institutions on various topics of their interest. • Clinical case presentations. • Performing all functions related to the area of health psychology. 3.- Hospital Juárez "Nephrology and transplant area" • Teaching research. • Daily supervision of hospitalized patients. • Performing batteries and psychological studies on patients in the kidney transplant protocol. • Conducting research for presentations at various congresses. • Psychological care for transplanted patients. • Psychological care for patients on the waiting list for transplants. • Psychological care for patients in isolation. • Assistance in the operating room during a transplant. 4.- Hospital Psiquiátrico Fray Bernardino Alvarez. • Review of clinical cases. • Review of records. • Care for inpatients. • Care for outpatients. • Care for patients' families, both inpatient and outpatient. • Conducting clinical sessions. • Developing group therapies for inpatients. • Group therapy care for patients with depression. • Supervision of patients on visits to various places "1 per month." • Supervision of medical treatment, for the establishment of alternative therapies when necessary. 2000.- Titular professor of the course "Psychological Development of the Child," which is run by the Family Medicine department of UNAM; this course is given every year with official validity, almost always in the month of April. I have also been invited by said department to various courses as a guest professor, but the courses are not always on the same date. 2002 to date.- Director and owner of the martial arts school "Zen Do" (www.zen-do.com.mx). - Teaching the discipline of Kick Boxing - Teaching the discipline of tae-kwon-do. 2004 to date.- Hospital Nacional Homeopático (temporarily assigned to the national mental health council) • Psychological care for the general public. • Creation and care of groups with chronic degenerative diseases. • Talks supporting school institutions on various topics of their interest. • Clinical case presentations. • Performing all functions related to the area of health psychology. • Care and inter-consultations for inpatients (hospitalization and emergency area). 2008 Temporary assignment at the national mental health council • Psychological care for the general public. • Diagnosis and referral of first-time patients. • Care for thanatology groups • Performance of psychometric tests for IQ assessment. 2011 Temporary assignment at the Instituto de Geriatría (SSA) • Speaker in training courses • Participation in research within mental health • Interviews with candidates for the area • Organization of social service providers • Research and training.
