Hi! I am Dr. Alfonso Hoyos, Pediatrics with a subspecialty in Pediatric Cardiology, and I'll tell you a bit about my professional training. I graduated from the Facultad de Medicina, of the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California, Mexicali Campus, where I studied to become a Physician and Surgeon. Working with children made me understand the delicate and loving work involved in caring for their health, which is why I decided to study my Specialty in Pediatrics through the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico, at the Instituto Nacional de Pediatria, and later, the Subspecialty in Pediatric Cardiology through UNAM. I hold an Advanced Specialty in Cardiac Electrophysiology from UNAM, being one of only 3 specialists in Baja California who treat children with arrhythmia problems.
