I personally attend to every patient, of any age, who presents with low vision, strabismus, paralysis of the eye muscles, blepharospasm, cataract, and problems with myopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia, listening carefully to the main reason for their visit, with a human, warm, and respectful approach. First-time consultations take an hour for evaluation and some follow-up visits do too, so it is suggested that you plan your appointment to have enough time to receive the care you deserve, be able to express your concerns, and receive a clear, concise, honest explanation, backed by more than 25 years of experience treating patients who are already tired of being told there is nothing more that can be done for their vision. What sets this apart from other consultations is that the patient is evaluated, diagnosed, and treated personally, without intermediaries, so that they can make decisions about their treatment, in an atmosphere of trust and privacy, feeling that they are special, with the professionalism and ethics expected for their care, and offering solutions that will be explained thoroughly, facilitating the exchange of ideas with the patient and their family. Continuous and intensive updating is ongoing, to find alternatives for problems that are not surgical and that require important guidance to improve quality of life for patients and their families.
