About the Doctor

I graduated with Honorable Mention from the Facultad Mexicana de Medicina of Universidad La Salle, where I received the CENEVAL award of excellence upon graduating from my degree. Afterward, I completed the Specialty in Ophthalmology at the Asociación para Evitar La Ceguera en México (APEC), a specialty endorsed by UNAM. During my training as an ophthalmic surgeon, I did a rotation in Refractive Surgery at the Fondation Ophtalmologique Adolphe de Rothchil, Paris, France. After finishing the Specialty in Ophthalmology, I completed a High Specialty in Cataract Microsurgery at the Asociación para Evitar La Ceguera en México (APEC), which is endorsed by the Facultad de Postgrado of UNAM. Throughout my career I have been a professor of numerous preparatory courses in the subject of Ophthalmology taught at the Facultad de Medicina of Universidad La Salle, UP and UNAM. As a physician specialized in Ophthalmology, I continue my training at multiple national and international congresses, and I keep publishing articles in renowned medical journals. I am Certified by: • Consejo Mexicano de Oftalmología (CMO) • International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) • Centro Mexicano de Cirujanos de Catarata (CMCC) I am an Honorary Member of: • Sociedad Mexicana de Oftalmología (SMO) • Pan American Association of Ophthalmology (PAAO) Currently, I maintain my private practice in my private office in Mexico City at the Hospital Angeles del Pedregal.
