Hi! I'm Amaranta Lopez, Nutritionist and Diabetes Educator specialized in Hormonal and Metabolic Health. I would like to help you improve your health, preventing or managing diseases, but first I'd like to tell you a bit about myself... I studied for a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition at the Universidad de Celaya, then decided to pursue a Master's degree in Health Institution Administration at the Universidad de la Salle Bajio in Leon, Gto. This allowed me to specialize as a Diabetes Educator through the Universidad Iberoamericana de Leon; afterward I studied a diploma in Metabolic Syndrome with the Instituto Mexicano de Nutricion Clinica, which led me to earn the Certified Diabetes & Nutrition Educator credential... I also hold an International Certification in Food Psychology and am currently pursuing an international diploma in Metabolic Endocrinology. As a specialist in hormonal cases and metabolic syndrome, I help you address health issues such as: Overweight/Obesity, Type 1 and 2 Diabetes, Insulin Resistance, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Fertility and Gestational Diabetes, Menopause, Hypertension, Hypothyroidism and Hyperthyroidism, Hormonal imbalances in the body.
