About the Doctor

Graduate of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, I completed my specialty in Internal Medicine at Centenario Hospital Miguel Hidalgo, with recognition from Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, and I am currently pursuing a specialty in Statistical Methods at the Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas; I hold certification from the Colegio de Medicina Interna de México, where I served on the Board of Directors of the Aguascalientes chapter for 4 years. In my experience as a physician, I have had the opportunity to work at Hospital Star Médica in the Intensive Care unit and in the emergency department at Centenario Hospital Hidalgo. I currently work as a staff physician at Hospital General de Zona No. 3 of IMSS, where I also served as lead professor for the undergraduate internship program and head of the Internal Medicine department; I am a clinical practice instructor for the Medicine program at Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes and an instructor in the Medicine program at Universidad Cuauhtémoc, Aguascalientes campus. As an internal medicine specialist, my goals are to support you through the three phases of illness: prevention, treatment of the illness, and minimizing the damage caused by the illness. In addition, patient education is essential to me — that is, providing you with the tools you need to take care of your health and manage your conditions.
