About the Doctor

M.Sc. Clinical Neurosciences, Master's in CBT. I completed my internship at the INNN (Instituto Nacional de Neurologia y Neurocirugia) and at Uniklinik. The therapy plan is carefully designed and implemented individually and collaboratively. Third-generation therapies are used to teach the patient strategies that allow them to improve their interpersonal effectiveness, regulate their emotions, and increase protective factors against stressful situations, which is defined as psychological flexibility, making us more resilient to the adverse situations of daily life. It is an evidence-based psychotherapy with a very high level of positive outcomes; at the same time, patients get a double benefit. On one hand, they improve their symptoms, and on the other, they find a sense and purpose increasingly aligned with what gives meaning to their actions, increasing their sense of well-being and moving closer to self-actualization. My goal as a psychologist is to provide people with the tools they need to achieve their best possible version and reach their full potential, all based on strategies that are tested and backed by the national and international scientific community. In my clinical experience I have been able to work with patients individually and as couples who suffer from different psychological disorders and neuropsychological deficits, for example: anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, addictions, anger and stress management, among others. My approach is based on evidence-based psychotherapies (Cognitive-Behavioral and third-generation therapies) that have shown high effectiveness for certain psychological disorders and conditions.
