I specialize in Schema Therapy, a form of psychotherapy that draws on contributions from various psychological schools. Schema therapy is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on schemas. People begin forming schemas in childhood, particularly around their family and immediate environment. These schemas then inform thoughts, emotions, and behavior. My passion is understanding the whole person, from the past to the present. When we feel seen, heard, and accepted, true healing can begin. By linking the protective parts accumulated over time to the experiences that created them, and then welcoming them, a path is created to heal and gain connection with your true core self. It's hard to take that first step, but here you are, taking that step. And I'm here for you.
