About the Doctor

Internal Medicine is responsible for the comprehensive care of the patient from puberty to old age, providing complete, non-fragmented care; I am responsible for making the appropriate diagnosis and offering timely treatment; I provide care to patients with multiple diseases both in the office and in hospitalization, and where appropriate I refer patients requiring evaluation by colleagues in other medical or surgical specialties in a timely manner. Another of my roles as a physician is health promotion and disease prevention in the adult patient. Rheumatology is responsible for the study, diagnosis, and treatment of systemic musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases. These are characterized by pain that can be acute or chronic, sometimes accompanied by inflammation that predominantly affects the joints and important organs (kidneys, heart, lungs, nervous system, etc.), which can sometimes compromise life and/or the function of an organ. The goal of timely diagnosis and care is to prevent disability and damage to important organs so that the patient can have an adequate quality of life. My commitment is to treat you with kindness and warmth, explain the basis of the tests requested to reach a diagnosis, as well as establish an appropriate and timely treatment.
