I graduated as an ophthalmologist in 2002 from the Hospital Oftalmologico de La Luz in Mexico City, endorsed by UNAM, in addition to training in refractive and cataract surgery at the CODET Center in Tijuana. I have attended multiple congresses in Mexico, Colombia, and the USA, and I have 17 years of experience as an ophthalmologist. I have lived in Cancún for 15 years, and for the past 12 years I have worked at Hospital Galenia as a specialist physician on the hospital's staff. In my office I treat children and adults, and my greatest experience is in laser refractive surgery, correction of myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism, as well as cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment. We are currently treating presbyopia with phacorefractive surgery with the placement of multifocal intraocular lenses
