I am Dr. Patricia Carvallo, General Surgeon and advanced Gastrointestinal Endoscopist in Mexico City. My priority is for you to feel heard, understood, and safe throughout your entire process, from the first consultation to the follow-up after the procedure. I treat patients with digestive symptoms such as reflux, heartburn, abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, digestive bleeding, anemia, or changes in bowel habits. I always aim for a clear diagnosis and a realistic treatment plan, explaining each step to you in simple words. I perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy, as well as specialized procedures when greater precision is required, such as Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and small bowel study by capsule endoscopy and enteroscopy. I hold a High Specialty in Endoscopic Ultrasound (UNAM / CMN Siglo XXI, IMSS) and actively participate in medical continuing education, teaching, and research. I am part of the International Editorial Board of the journal Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (GIE) and have been recognized as Top Reviewer 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, which backs my commitment to high-quality medicine.
