About the Doctor

I am licensed in physical therapy, a graduate of UNAM. I dedicate myself to treating musicians (singers and instrumentalists) and people with pelvic floor dysfunctions. Pelvic floor physical therapy prevents and treats dysfunctions of the urogenital system (bladder, uterus, vagina, rectum, and anus) and the muscles that support them. Some examples are: incontinence, prolapses (organ drop), pelvic pain related to menstruation, pain during intercourse, recurrent infections, recovery after abdominal and pelvic surgeries. Physical therapy for musicians consists of providing prevention and treatment tools for injuries related to playing an instrument or singing; through body awareness exercises, changes in habits, and individualized routines.
