About the Doctor

Hello! I am Ms. Dana Castillo, a Psychologist, graduate of the Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales of the Universidad La Salle. I completed my Social Service at the Sociedad de Beneficencia Espanola (Hospital Espanol) in the Psychiatry department, providing individual therapy focused on behavioral disorders such as depression and anxiety for a population of young adults and older adults. I hold a specialty in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Institucion Formacion Activa and a Master's in clinical and health psychology, in addition to courses on Thanatology and Geriatrics. I also hold a certificate of participation in events on transference-focused therapy (TFP) for borderline personality disorder: strategies to transform personality structure and relieve symptoms, from the Universidad Intercontinental. Recognition from the Internado Infantil Guadalupano, providing clinical care to an adult population with addiction disorders. Volunteer work at the Fundacion SERESARTE, providing psychoeducational care, recreational and artistic workshops, and emotional support to an adult population experiencing homelessness. I have experience in psychotherapeutic support for women who have experienced violence at Fundacion Vida y Familia A.C. (VIFAC). I am passionate about mental health and human behavior. My goal as a therapist is to provide you comfort, stability, emotional support, and companionship within your therapy space, offering you a safe space.
