About the Doctor

I am Dr. Dulce Selena Aragon Bustamante, general surgeon, and currently in advanced specialty training. My training as a general physician was completed at UNAM and later I specialized in general surgery at the same university. I later took the diploma in "Gender Perspective in Health Services" from the Graduate Studies Unit of UNAM. My focus is on adults, and I specialize in treating surgeries of the abdominal region, whether scheduled or emergency, such as cases of abdominal pain secondary to appendicitis, diverticulitis, peptic ulcer, acute cholecystitis and its complications, inguinal hernia, umbilical hernia, wall hernia. I also treat diseases that do not require surgery but do require specialized care such as cases of pancreatitis, diabetic foot, wounds, etc. I am passionate about my work and I strive to offer my patients the best possible care. I am proud to know that many of my patients trust me and have been satisfied with my treatment. I am always willing to listen and answer any questions or concerns my patients may have.
