I am an angiologist and vascular surgeon, a graduate of the Hospital de Especialidades CMN La Raza, endorsed by UNAM and the Consejo Mexicano de Angiologia. I have experience in open vascular surgery (performing arterial bypass, construction of arteriovenous fistulas, endarterectomies, removal of varicose veins, thrombosis, surgical debridement, all types of wound care, minor and major amputations of the lower limbs, resolution of urgent vascular trauma), as well as in endovascular surgery (placement of arterial stents, balloon angioplasty, arteriography). I am also trained to interpret complex imaging studies such as CT angiography, Doppler ultrasound, and arteriography. I am in constant training, attending current courses and conferences related to circulatory diseases, such as lymphedema and chronic venous insufficiency, with all their complications.
