Aneurysm

An aneurysm is an abnormal dilation or bulging in the wall of a blood vessel, generally an artery, that weakens and widens in one area.

Where it may appear: It occurs in different arteries of the body, such as the aorta or those of the brain, and often produces no symptoms until it grows.
