About the Doctor

I have more than thirteen years of clinical experience. In recent years, I have specialized in patients with anxiety- and depression-related disorders, as well as psychiatric and neurological diagnosis. I hold a specialty in neuropsychology and another in cognitive-behavioral therapy. During my early years as a student I worked at the Instituto Nacional de Psiquiatria "Ramon de la Fuente Muniz." In my master's in neuropsychology, I did clinical rotations at Hospital General de Mexico "Dr. Eduardo Liciaga" and at the Instituto Nacional de Neurologia y Neurocirugia "Manuel Velasco Suarez." For ten years I combined clinical practice with management positions at a prestigious school in Mexico City. There I was able to specialize in the treatment of children and adolescents with socio-emotional problems (bullying, emotion regulation, socialization), learning and literacy problems, among others. A year and a half ago I became a mother, and since then I have started helping women with postpartum depression, maternal guilt, and other motherhood-related problems. I am passionate about helping others and seeing how my patients build tools to move forward, seeing a significant improvement in their lives.
