I am Dr. Javier Carrillo Dartigues. I studied Medicine at the Facultad de Medicina of UNAM, and subsequently completed the specialty in General and Gastrointestinal Surgery and the subspecialty in Coloproctology at the Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI of IMSS. I am certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Cirugía General and the Consejo Mexicano de Especialistas en Coloproctología My area of specialization is aimed at diagnosing and treating patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, colon, rectum, and anus: hemorrhoidal disease, fistulas, abscesses and anal fissures, condylomas, blood in stool, diverticula, polyps and colorectal cancer, gallbladder diseases, acute appendicitis, hernias, gastroesophageal reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, and constipation. Experience in anorectal surgery and laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery (minimally invasive surgery).
