About the Doctor

I am a physician with solid training in ophthalmology and eye surgery. My greatest interest is to preserve your vision and always provide you with the best care with a warm and professional touch. We have the best technological tools to examine your eyes. We are fully willing to explain in detail all your questions about your disease, medical treatment, or surgery. My academic training as a medical specialist in ophthalmology was at UNAM at the prestigious Hospital Oftalmologico Fundacion Hospital de Nuestra Senora de la Luz I.A.P. (a leading eye hospital with more than 140 years of excellence, a leader nationally and internationally in the specialty). This training as an Ophthalmic Surgeon allows me to treat the most common eye diseases in both children and adults. I also have additional training, having completed an Advanced Specialty in Orbital, Eyelid, and Lacrimal Pathway Surgery - Oculoplastic Surgery at UNAM - Hospital de la Luz I.A.P. As well as a Fellowship at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas in Dallas, Texas, USA. I believe that ongoing medical education is essential, and I enjoy sharing knowledge and experience with future generations of physicians, which is why I am also a Professor at the Escuela Internacional de Medicina of the Universidad Anahuac, where I teach the ophthalmology course.
