AMONG RECTAL CONDITIONS WE HAVE HEMORRHOIDS, FISSURES, FISTULAS, ABSCESSES, ANAL INCONTINENCE, RECTOCELE (THE RECTAL WALL PROTRUDES THROUGH THE VAGINA), RECTAL PROLAPSE, AND SKIN CONDITIONS, AS WELL AS CANCERS OF THE COLON, RECTUM, AND ANUS. WE ARE ALSO TRAINED TO PERFORM COLONOSCOPY STUDIES, WHICH INVOLVE INSERTING A TUBE WITH A CAMERA ON THE TIP TO DETECT TUMORS, POLYPS, VASCULAR MALFORMATIONS, AND NARROWING OF THE COLON, RECTUM, AND ANUS.
