I am Dr. Jesús Vicente Sánchez Hernández, I have dedicated my life to medicine and my patients, I am a specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, I have worked both in institutional settings and privately, currently I continue working institutionally managing patients hospitalized for kidney disease in its severe stages (dialysis), however in my private practice I try to help my patients avoid reaching these limits of the disease by helping them understand it, managing the chronic diseases that most complicate this kidney disease, such as Diabetes Mellitus, High Blood Pressure, problems with fat in the blood (dyslipidemia), etc.; I also treat patients already on dialysis therapy, whether peritoneal or Hemodialysis, and of course the complications that come with kidney failure. With almost 24 years of experience, I continue in the fight to prevent the late stages of kidney failure, to prevent reaching dialysis, to give a better quality of life, to build a culture of prevention against kidney failure, to make lifestyle changes that lead us to expose ourselves to a high risk of complications from our underlying diseases; Kidney failure is already a pandemic worldwide and in Mexico its rates are growing out of control, so it is better to try to avoid becoming part of this unpleasant statistic.
