About the Doctor

Hi! Nice to meet you, I am a graduate of the School of Medicine of UNAM, considered one of the best medical schools in Latin America. Since I began as a physician I have been characterized by having a comprehensive view of how I treat my fellow human beings. The pillars of my medical practice are respect, kindness and honesty. I am a physician who seeks my patients' well-being above all else. After finishing my studies at the school, I did my social service in research at the Instituto Nacional de Cardiología; throughout my student years I developed a taste for research and the development of scientific work. This has allowed me to have, to date, more than 100 articles published in national and international journals. I completed my general surgery residency at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición, Salvador Zubirán. At this prestigious institution I built the foundation of my professional training, later moving on to plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. My training as a plastic surgeon was in the plastic surgery service of the Hospital General Dr. Manuel Gea González, one of the schools with the highest demand for admission and the largest number of patients treated. Throughout my training as a plastic surgeon I have had the good fortune to learn from experts worldwide, completing rotations in Barcelona, Spain, Sydney, Australia, Colombia and the United States. This has allowed me to strengthen my knowledge and improve my personal technique. My area of greatest interest is aesthetic surgery; I have performed more than 500 procedures, most of them nose surgery, breast augmentation, liposuction and abdominoplasty. After finishing plastic surgery I did a year of hand surgery, with the goal of better treating hand pathologies such as synovial cysts, trigger finger, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
