About the Doctor

The treatment plan is aimed at teenagers and adults with emotional problems that limit them from being happy and in harmony with themselves and their environment. Initially a clinical interview is carried out in order to understand the reasons why the person is seeking care and identify their issue, as well as the areas affected by it, in order to establish a diagnosis and pinpoint the objectives and therapeutic goals. Depending on this, we work with psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, or brief therapies, knowledge I have acquired through my studies and my clinical experience of more than 30 years. Through the therapeutic process, we seek for the client to gain self-knowledge that allows them to become aware of the dynamic they are in and be able to seek solution alternatives and put them into effect. Likewise, the aim is for them to identify or discover new skills and strategies that support their overall development and quality of life. To achieve the goal of the intervention, the client's committed engagement is important, of course with the support of the therapist.
