About the Doctor

I am Maria del Rayo, Clinical Psychologist and Thanatologist, graduate of the Universidad Autonoma Espana de Durango, and as part of my training I have a diploma from the Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila and the Instituto de Educacion Humanista, as well as a Diploma in Couples Therapy and Sexuality from the Instituto Latinoamericano de Estudios de Posgrado. I have extensive experience in grief management, of all kinds of losses, especially due to the death of a loved one, since I consider myself an empathetic and highly sensitive person. I also have experience in the evaluation and treatment of different mental health disorders in patients of all ages. My approach is based on applying therapeutic techniques based on analyzing the origin of behaviors, with the goal of providing my patients with the necessary tools to improve their emotional well-being and quality of life. Throughout my professional career I have worked in various settings such as companies, government institutions, schools, and private practices, which has given me the opportunity to collaborate on multidisciplinary teams, where I have been able to share knowledge and experiences with professionals from different fields in order to provide comprehensive care to clients.
