Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you. In this section I'll share a bit about what the therapeutic process is like with me, and further along, about my experience, so you can get to know me better. I am a psychologist specialized in mental health, with 6 years of experience. I treat couples and families with various issues, people 18 years old and older, and older adults. If you've made it this far, allow me to tell you about my therapeutic process: it's a space where I aim for you to feel comfortable talking about what is causing you emotional distress. I will never judge you for anything at all; I am a very open person and I am passionate about providing therapy. In therapy we will work together so you can heal what hurts and find a solution to what is causing you distress. I know it hasn't been easy to decide to ask for help and that you have possibly been carrying that for a long time, but now is the moment. You deserve to feel better! I'll share a bit about my academic background: I hold a degree in Psychology, graduate of the Universidad del Valle de Mexico. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Clinical Psychology at the Instituto de Formacion Humana (IESFH). I have a diploma in Sexual Abuse from the Asociacion de Atencion y Prevencion del Abuso Sexual y el Maltrato Infantil A.C. (ACASMI). I was an instructor of the Tierra a la Vista Workshop for five years at Voz Pro Salud Mental, a nonprofit organization dedicated to psychoeducation for people with neurodivergence or a mental health diagnosis and for the psychoeducation of their family members or primary caregivers. We support comprehensive treatment. I worked for more than two years at CISAME, the Centro Integral de Salud Mental, at the Secretaria de Salud, as a Clinical Psychologist. It is a second-level care unit of the Secretaria de Salud whose main function is to provide outpatient services for the timely detection, care, and rehabilitation of mental health, for users who require specialized care, as well as to carry out mental health promotion and prevention actions for the benefit of the population, under the Federal Model of Medical Specialty Units (UNEMES).
