About the Doctor
Dr. Mijael Toiber is a medical surgeon graduated from Universidad Anahuac. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the American British Cowdray Medical Center and subspecialty in Surgical Oncology at the Hospital General de Mexico. He has been a professor at Universidad Panamericana and Universidad Anahuac, and lead professor of the General Surgery course at UMAE 14 of IMSS, and lead professor of the surgical oncology subspecialty at UMAE 14 (the only residency in surgical oncology in Veracruz). He is the author of works presented at national and international congresses and author and contributor to articles in medical journals and chapters of advanced specialty books in oncology. Specialist in breast oncoplastic surgery from the Universidad de la Coruna. Certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Oncologia and a pioneer in Veracruz in new cancer treatments, the first to perform transarterial chemoembolizations of liver tumors in Veracruz, pioneer in the use of laryngeal neurostimulator for high-complexity neck surgery. I currently live in Cancun and travel to Veracruz to see my patients. I worked at the Hospital General de Cancun until a year ago, and I currently see patients in private practice at Av Huayacan 58 and operate at almost all hospitals
