About the Doctor
I am Nathaly Reyes. I studied psychology at the Universidad de Guadalajara, I have always loved my career, so I started preparing myself while I was still studying; I first began with workshops in play psychotherapy, after that I studied a workshop in Schema Therapy, I also began attending congresses, which add up to 9 congresses on psychotherapeutic techniques and 10 congresses on neuropsychology. Also, as part of my undergraduate training I took part in 8 presentations in different areas: Neuropsychology (3); Clinical Psychology (2); Educational Psychology (2); Behavioral Psychology (1). I concluded with an undergraduate thesis in the area of neuropsychology titled: "Characterization of functional electrical connectivity during the elicitation of mental images." After finishing my degree I spent some time in the human resources area for 5 months, enough to know that I wanted to dedicate myself to psychotherapy, so I began studying a diploma in Cognitive Behavioral psychotherapy. I am now about to finish my Master's in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy. I really love my work because I like understanding why my patients' problems occur and providing them with the right tools to improve their mental health; I feel proud of each and every one of their achievements. I am always grateful that they trust me enough to tell me about their lives and give me the opportunity to help them live a more fulfilling life. I like to be very productive, so if I am not at the office, I am at home studying, you can also find me at the gym or walking my dog Sansa. I like taking care of myself and the people around me, because I believe it is the most beautiful way to express love and open my heart to others; I hope you can be part of this project and feel comfortable, safe, and free, as well as gain skills and abilities that you can use in the best possible way to prevent and improve your mental health.
