I completed my medical studies at UAA. I specialized in Angiology and Vascular Surgery at Centro Médico Nacional de Especialidades la RAZA, which is backed by UNAM. I am certified by the CONSEJO MEXICANO DE ANGIOLOGIA. FORMER PRESIDENT of the Angiology college in Aguascalientes. My specialty focuses on diseases of the circulation — arterial, venous, and lymphatic — whether in the upper limbs, lower limbs, abdomen, or neck. For example: varicose veins, deep and superficial venous thrombosis, diseases of the lymphatic vessels such as lymphedema. I also treat carotid body tumors, fatty plaques in the carotid arteries — located in the neck and responsible for the blood supply to parts of the brain. Aneurysms of any artery — these aneurysms are dilations of the walls of blood vessels, which carry a risk of rupture. The creation of arteriovenous fistulas for hemodialysis access, which are the first option that should be performed when a patient with kidney disease already needs renal replacement. Temporary hemodialysis catheters should always be left as a second option. Thoracoscopic sympathectomies for patients with hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating of the hands, armpits, and feet). Resection of the first rib or cervical ribs in patients with thoracic outlet syndrome.
