My name is Nelly Kinacu Meza Bautista, I am a specialist in Surgery, with more than 10 years of experience in digestive system surgery (gallbladder, inguinal hernias, umbilical hernias, appendicitis, etc) through minimally invasive procedures (laparoscopic surgery). I hold certification from the Mexican Board of General Surgery A.C. and am an active member of the Asociacion Mexicana de Cirugia General. I studied the Medicine degree at the Facultad de Medicina of the UNAM and then completed my Surgery specialty at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion Salvador Zubiran for 3 years and one year at the CMN Siglo XXI. During my academic training I completed two medical rotations at the Hospital of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, United States. As part of my commitment to my patients, I chose to do my specialty social service in Surgery in Venustiano Carranza, Chiapas, for 6 months. One of the topics of greatest interest to me is abdominal wall hernias, and I feel a special affinity for helping people who suffer from them regain the functionality of their abdomen, that is, to return to all the everyday and sports activities they wish and have the quality of life they want.
