Hello, I am Dr. Oscar Chavira, orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist, certified by the Colegio Mexicano de Ortopedia, and I also hold a high specialty in spine surgery endorsed by UNAM. I run my private medical practice focused on orthopedic diseases and the care of trauma and acute injuries such as fractures, sprains, and muscle and tendon injuries. As for my training as a spine surgery specialist, I focus on acute conditions such as disc injuries, inflammation and pain of the spinal joints, and age-related degenerative diseases; the approach is always diagnostic and, whenever possible, to provide treatment without surgery using medication and physical therapy. If surgical intervention is required, we use state-of-the-art, minimally invasive techniques that allow for quick recovery and a fast, pain-free return to daily activities.
