About the Doctor
Trained as a physician in service to children, I had the good fortune to complete a subspecialty in Critical Care Medicine that complemented my comprehensive training as a Pediatrician, allowing me to acquire clinical skills ranging from monitoring the proper growth and development of the healthy child and addressing common illnesses, to the timely diagnosis and treatment of complex conditions that can even put the lives of boys and girls at risk. I am convinced that the role of the pediatrician goes beyond providing an accurate, sincere, and honest diagnosis and treatment, but rather lies in accompanying the child and the family during the process of growth, development, and upbringing. I am passionate about good reading and pleasant conversations, as well as topics such as child care, upbringing, medical humanization, assertive communication, critical care, diagnostic challenges, technology, and medical education, which has led me to complement my training with a master's degree in education, as well as multiple courses on communication skills and clinical teaching methods.
