Geriatrics is a highly integrative specialty that cannot be conceived without a solid foundation of internal medicine knowledge. For this reason, alongside my certification with the Consejo Mexicano de Geriatría, I also keep my certification with the Consejo Mexicano de Medicina Interna current.
