I am currently pursuing a master's in Health Institution Management and Leadership at Universidad Anahuac The goals of the first-time and follow-up consultation are as follows: - Control of chronic diseases (Arterial hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Ischemic heart disease, Hypothyroidism, Arrhythmias etc.) - Provide comprehensive care to the older adult to identify geriatric syndromes - Assessment of cognitive function and management of neurobehavioral symptoms in patients with dementia. - Develop rehabilitation or prehabilitation plans - Management of chronic pain and palliative care - Home visits for patients with mobility impairments or advanced diseases. - Performing complementary tests for cardiovascular assessment (Electrocardiogram, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring ABPM) All of this with the aim of preserving or improving the functionality and quality of life of the older adult.
