About the Doctor

I am Sandra Cortes, nutritionist and diabetes educator. My approach centers on supporting people to improve their health through conscious, practical, evidence-based eating, adapted to their lifestyle. I firmly believe that nutrition should not be restrictive or complicated, but a tool to better understand your body, improve your relationship with food, and build sustainable habits that allow you to maintain results long term.I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition from the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Xochimilco campus, and specialized as a diabetes educator at the Mexican Diabetes Association, where I participated in health education activities, development of educational materials, health fairs, and support for people living with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. I later worked as an examiner for the Diabetes Educator Diploma at the Universidad Anahuac and continued my training in teaching, which strengthened my passion for health education.Since 2020 I have also seen private patients under an interdisciplinary approach, supporting patients with different goals and conditions such as Diabetes, Insulin Resistance, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Hypothyroidism, digestive diseases, and weight management (among others). My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools throughout the process so you can make informed decisions about your diet and health, showing that eating healthy can be simple, sustainable, and compatible with your daily life.
