Vascular Ring

A vascular ring is a congenital malformation in which arteries or veins formed around the trachea and esophagus surround them completely, exerting pressure on these structures. It is usually present from birth.

Frequent symptoms:

• Noisy breathing or difficulty breathing.
• Persistent cough or repeated respiratory infections.
• Problems swallowing or choking when eating.
