Chest Infection

A so-called chest infection, or lower respiratory tract infection, is a condition that affects the bronchi or the lungs, usually caused by infectious agents such as viruses or bacteria. It ranges from bronchitis to conditions that involve the lung tissue itself.

Common symptoms: it often involves cough, sometimes with phlegm, chest pain or pressure, difficulty breathing, fever, and fatigue.
