Anaerobic Pneumonia

Anaerobic pneumonia is an infection of the lung tissue produced by bacteria that grow in low-oxygen environments, frequently related to the passage of secretions or mouth contents into the airways.

Common symptoms: cough, at times with foul-smelling phlegm, fever, general malaise, difficulty breathing, and, in some cases, weight loss when the condition is prolonged.
