Mediastinal Tumor

A mediastinal tumor is an abnormal growth of tissue that develops in the mediastinum, the central space of the chest located between the lungs, where the heart, great vessels, the trachea, and other structures are housed. It can be of a varied nature.

Possible signs: persistent cough, chest pain, difficulty breathing, or a sensation of pressure in the chest, although at times it is discovered incidentally.
