The foundation of my professional practice is based on the fact that the voice is the indispensable means of human communication, whether social or professional. The presence of diseases related to the voice or larynx is the most common cause of work or school absenteeism in Mexico. Given this scenario, it is essential to provide proper and systematic diagnoses and treatments for laryngeal diseases. In my professional practice, I treat all conditions of the larynx, from the most common to the most complex. Do you know them? Identifying them can help you have a better quality of life: Laryngeal cancer, leukoplakia, vocal polyps, different types of dysphonia such as muscular and spasmodic, vocal cord nodules, vascular ectasias, recurrent respiratory papillomatosis, laryngotracheal stenosis, and unilateral and bilateral vocal cord paralysis are some of the laryngological conditions in which I specialize. By identifying laryngeal conditions, we can treat them early and thereby avoid sequelae and complications from lack of timely diagnosis and incorrect treatments. Each of my patients is evaluated with complex, internationally validated diagnostic methods and scales, such as the voice handicap index, which allows me to assess the limitation in quality of life due to their voice problem; I perform diagnostic tests and document each patient with the latest technology equipment, allowing for a more detailed and precise diagnosis of laryngeal diseases, and in cases where it is indicated, I perform procedures using CO2, Blue, or KTP Laser.
